McDonald’s and FastFood.com want to hear why the Big Mac is one of your favorite burgers.

FastFood.com was contacted by McDonalds and offered a few free Big Mac “Be Our Guest” cards and Big Mac T-shirts to give away to our loyal readers. We thought the best way to do that was to have you write about what makes the Big Mac so special to you.

So, for the first five approved post to this article, we will send you a FREE “Be Our Guest” card and a T-shirt from McDonald’s.

Just write a few paragraphs on why you like McDonald’s Big Mac. Maybe a story about the first time you had one, or why you think Big Mac’s are so popular and have been such a successful burger for so many years? It’s up to you what you write, but only the first five post we use on the site will get a Big Mac and T-shirt.

The Fast Food Nutrition App

With the same unique abilities as the web based version, the Fast Food Nutrition app has 250 restaurant chains, with over 50,000 menu items. It includes categories for calories, fats, trans fats, saturated fats, cholesterol, sodium, carbohydrates, sugars, protein and even Weight Watchers points, for every item. So you can evaluate your dietary intake with ease. “And it’s a calorie counter that actually lets you calculate your calories”, says company spokesman James Boyle. Item by item, meal by meal, quick and easy! “Now our users can take the information with them wherever they go”, Boyle added.

The app was featured on TheDailyAppShow, the day after its launch, and is gaining the attention of many in the social networking arena.

There are two versions of the app available. One runs ads and is completely free, the other is ad free, has 250 restaurant chains, and cost $2.99. Both are available at the Android Market. The company is almost finished with the iPhone version of the app, and will release it in the near future.
